who on earth are you?
My name is John and I am a Texas based musician who has way too many projects with way too many different names. There isn't much to say about me other than that I am currently existing and creating art.
Auto Biography for the Curious:
I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on the 26th of September. For the first four years of my life I lived in a small rural town with a population less than 1000. Around the time I was 4 or 5 my family moved to Cedar Rapids and another four years after that my family would again move, this time to Texas. Texas is where I remain.

History of My Art (WIP)
EARLY MUSIC CREATION / "PROTOSILD":
I spent most of my late childhood and early teen years hanging around online spaces. On these online spaces, I would meet an online friend who would help formulate my music taste. Many projects inspired me during this time, such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor & A Silver Mt. Zion,  Explosions in the Sky, Nirvana, Streetlight Manifesto, Pixies, Muse, Linkin Park and many more I can't name here.
Using my late Grandfather's greek bouzouki, which had been untouched and unmaintained for ~20 years, I wrote my first record. It wasn't much, I played whatever I wanted to and mashed it together into one very uncohesive piece of music. It is best described as outsider music at it's absolute maximum. It can also be described as microtonal as my late Grandfather's Greek Bouzouki was quite literally impossible to tune.
Not too soon after the conclusion of that record, I would begin learning electric guitar. After a few months of learning it, I would write my first semi cohesive project, The Apprehension Tapes. After the conclusion of this project, I would start my first official music project, SILD.

SILD:
SILD (acronym for Screw It, Let's Do) can still be described as outsider music, but also experimental. For roughly 4 months, I would work on The Etymology of "No Thing". The album would be released Halloween 2024. For subsquent next few months, I would work on the 2nd and last album of the SILD project, The Laws of Contradiction (TLOC). TLOC would release March 1st, 2025 and marked the end of SILD.
